35 Things Mainers Say They Love About Portland, Maine
Portland, Maine
As someone who was raised in Maine, moved away and came back, I have an undying and unconditional love for my city. I moved away from home to experience something new only to learn that everything I could ever need and want exists right here in the Pine Tree State.
Driving along the coast, bar hopping at local breweries, and walking along the cobblestone streets are just a small part of what fills my heart when I’m in Portland. Whether I’m watching my favorite local bands at one of our many venues or kayaking between our many islands, I am exhilarated to be a part of such an exciting, lively and dynamic city.
