As the urbanization of Portland continues, a developer is seeking approval from the city to build another hotel. According to the Bangor Daily News, commercial real estate developer Jim Brady is seeking approval from the city to build a 23,000 square foot hotel, which will include a restaurant and rooftop bar.

More details were given in an article by MaineBiz. If approved, the new hotel is projected to be open in the spring of 2021.

Brady has earned quite the reputation as a builder in Portland, responsible for the Press Hotel, one of the fanciest places in the city. Imagine the view of the water from a spot like that!
