Apple Maps Unveils New Feature Available In Maine For The First Time
If you're an iPhone user and someone who uses any sort of transit other than your own car, Apple Maps has officially launched an upgrade in Maine that you may want to take advantage of.
According to Mac Rumors, Apple has rolled out their new transit function in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont as of Wednesday, August 15th. The transit option is located inside the Maps app, and offers detailed updates on public transit options, including buses, trains, and ferries so that you can better plan your day or how to navigate your way around wherever you're visiting.
And if you're thinking this is relegated to just Portland, think again. When Apple decided to launch this, they decided it would cover the entire state. So if you're visiting downeast Maine, you can have up-to-date ferry schedules at your disposal.
