When you work as a Speech Therapist for Arete Rehab, you will be responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Required skills, licenses, and certifications:

  • Current Maine Speech Therapy Licensure
  • Master's degree from an approved school of speech therapy or graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in speech therapy
  • Three or more years of previous experience in all aspects of speech therapy
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge

When you work as part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for Arete Rehab, you will be responsible for:

  • Working under the direct supervision of occupational therapists to provide physical rehabilitation to injured or diseased patients.
  • Administering treatment plans for patients created by occupational therapists.
  • Assisting with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Assisting patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
  • Participating in operational aspects of the department.
  • Maintaining performance improvement activities within the department and participating in CQI activities.

Requirements include:

  • Associate degree from a school or college approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Holds a current Maine Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
  • Current BCLS
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge

When you work as a part-time Physical Therapist for Arete Rehab, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (RCNA, PTA, PTLA, etc.).
  • Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
  • Assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.

  • Current Maine Physical Therapy Licensure
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge
