My love for the Bachelor franchise has faded over the years, but I used to be a major Bachelor stan.

For many years, The Bachelor was in a league of its own in terms of reality dating shows. There was nothing like it! Now, we are inundated with so many options, it's hard to pick which one to commit to.

Whether it's Love is Blind, Married at First Sight, or Love Island, the rules might be slightly different, but the basic premise is the same. Single people are meeting for the first time in hopes of finding their forever love, and it's all unfolding before our eyes in the form of entertainment.

The happy couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are a product of the Bachelor franchise, though they didn't meet during their first seasons on the show.

Ashley was a contestant on season 19, competing for the love and affection of Chris Soules. Ashley was sent packing semi-early on, and Chris ultimately picked Whitney Bischoff.

Jared was on season 11 of the Bachelorette with MY GIRL Kaitlyn Bristowe, who ended up engaged to Shawn Booth in the end.

Ashley and Jared actually met on the set of season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, a spinoff where Bachelor contestants from yesteryear hang out on an island, and many times end up making out. A lot.

Ashley and Jared definitely had their fair share of on-camera smooches on the show in 2015, but didn't make their coupledom official until 2018. They were friends first, and their love story was a slow burn (though Ashley says she knew she loved him the minute she set eyes on him in Paradise).

Fast forward to now, and the two are happily married with a beautiful baby boy named Dawson.

The three decided to head up north to Maine for a family getaway. Judging by their Instagram posts, they had the best time! In the caption, Jared explained that they don't get away much, so this trip was some much needed R&R.

Jared said:

"There’s something about morning coffee in the crisp air that only a forest can provide. Good stuff."

They stayed at The Woods Maine treehouse in Norway, Maine.

This treehouse is glamping at its finest!

I have never stayed in a treehouse, but it's definitely on my bucket list.
