If you happened to be in downtown Portland, Maine, on Temple Street this week, you would have done a double-take on this unique parking job.

Yup, that's a Power Wheels vehicle taking up a valuable parking spot in Portland.

Traffic and parking continue to be a problem in Portland. According to the US Census, 30,000 people come to Portland every day, yet there are only 7,000 parking spots. You do the math; it's not pretty.

So, now we have a Kid Car in one of the spots.

So many questions here. Why? Who? Where did they drive in from? Did they pay for 2 hours of parking? Here are more photos (and questions) of the toy truck.

We found this awesome photo on Reddit and knew there would be good comments. Is this ripe for a caption contest or what?

Honestly, I'm not even mad, this is amazing. I can only hope that there is a ticket showing they paid for parking on the dashboard.

Someone has a DUI

Looks like someone stole his spare.

Call the tow truck

Don't know Jeep made a compact EV.

Drivers like this be taking up all the parking spots in town.

Park up to the next car. Yeesh.

Hey, Power Wheels kid, if you need a tow or trailer, we know a guy....

Great job, Reddit. This did get us thinking.

In many cities around the country, they allow you to drive GOLF CARTS around. Now, THAT might make it easier to move around Portland better. According to our sources, it looks like you legally could drive a golf cart around Portland.

This article from WCYY reveals that yes, driving a golf cart on the road is legal in Maine, but there are some exceptions.

Apparently, golf carts can't be on a road with a speed limit that is more than 35 miles per hour, according to Maine.gov per the WCYY article.
