It was a year ago that John Krasinski filmed on the Bath Iron Works built USS Rafael Peralta!

According to NewsCenter Maine, you can see a little Maine in the Amazon Prime hit, 'Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan'.

The ship is the U.S.S Rafael Peralta. It was named after Peralta who enlisted in the Navy on the same day he got his green card and immigrated to the United States from Mexico, according to the United States Navy.

The show is getting great reviews. Jim from 'The Office' has grown up!

The BIW ship is in season two which is now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Sgt. Rafael Peralta was a hero who was killed in Iraq by covering a live grenade with his body in 2004. He saved two other Marines and earned the Navy Cross and Purple Heart among other decorations.

The ship was christened here in Maine, but is now docked in San Diego...which just happens to be where the show is filmed.
