Blimp Time-Hop: Roger Daltrey Still Chiseled And Rockin’ At 75
Happy Birthday to one of the Gods of Rock and Roll! Roger Daltrey lead singer of The Who, turns 75 today. He was born on March 1, 1944 in London. His legendary career as a singer, songwriter and actor has been built to last, for more than 50 years.
He'll be back out on the road in the summer and fall this year with Pete Townshend. One of The Who stops on this tour will be at Fenway Park on September 13th.
Pete is currently in the studio with Pino Palladino on bass and Zak Starkey on drums working on tracks for a new Who album. Roger has been doing some solo dates and will be joining them soon to add his legendary vocals. Pete has been keeping us up to date with a great vlog that takes us behind the scenes of the recording sessions.
Watch Roger performing Won't Get Fooled Again on a Rock Legends Cruise a couple weeks ago. He really makes being in your mid 70s look and sound amazing. With a tan chiseled chest and that historic scream still a full power, Roger Daltrey shows us once again why we should continue to be impressed! Truly incredible! If you need to get right to the scream, it's at 7:40.
