Blimpville Legends of Rock Live: Vote Phish, ELO, Allman Brothers
Here. We. Go. Again.
Blimpville Legends of Rock is up for another round, and you get to help choose the winner.
The latest matchup is Phish in Limestone in 1997 versus ELO at the Cumberland County Civic Center in 1978 and Allman Brothers at the Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach in 1994.
We've got a battle between two '90s shows and one in the late '70s. Who do you think should win this matchup?
Don't forget to vote because the poll closes Saturday at 5 p.m. (We want to give you more time to vote!)
Then, on Saturday at 6 p.m., the legendary concert with the most votes will be declared the winner, and WBLM will play a full hour of live, in-concert music from that band.
Oh, and if that's not awesome enough, we're going commercial-free for it. Did you hear that? Commercial free!
Who do you think will win? Who do you want to hear?
Don't miss out on voting, and celebrate along with WBLM as we rock out for an epic year 50.
Many of you have been along for this wild and crazy ride. And if you've got stories, you can share them with us right here. We want to hear 'em.
Did you know that the first song played on WBLM was "The Story in Your Eyes" by The Moody Blues?
Here's to another 50 with Maine's classic rock station, the Blimp, 102.9 WBLM. Rock on, Blimpsters. Rock on.
