Exciting New Restaurant Opens Its Doors in Buxton, Maine
Exciting news for folks in Greater Portland, as a brand-new restaurant is ready to fire up the stoves and open its doors.
Located right on the corner of Routes 202 and 22 in Buxton, the Mustard Public House is a brand-new joint that has had the community buzzing ever since the restaurant was announced just a few months back. And now, the dream has become a reality, as it is officially open to the public.

What is the Mustard Public House's Concept?
The Mustard Public House concept sounds absolutely delicious, as it combines local and fresh ingredients with an elevated comfort food menu. This includes classics like burgers, chicken wings, and popular sandwiches, along with creative entrees like rotating risotto, smoked Bolognese, and seafood options. Basically, the entire menu is a murderer's row of delicious choices. Oh, and there's a full bar with cocktails and all your favorite local beverages.
I have to say, this is a very exciting venture, especially for those who live west of Portland, you know, like me. Having a new joint opening just up the road is always exciting.

The Mustard Public House gets its name from the building itself, an old Cape-style home that has been a landmark in the town for over 200 years. More recently, it had been a very cool antiques store before being converted into restaurant space back in 2018.
Quite honestly, it's a pretty ideal spot for a restaurant, considering it's right on the corner of two busy routes (22 and 202) and an easy drive from Gorham, Scarborough, and many of the other surrounding towns.

What are the Mustard Public House's Hours?
According to its website, the Mustard Public House's hours will be Thursday through Monday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. You can also find the menu and more images of its delicious-looking food and creative cocktails on social media.
