Missing person cases really intrigue us. Is it possible for people to go completely missing for decades without ANYONE knowing ANYTHING about the situation? We just heard about this case from the Maine State Police. A CPA from Maine goes missing. Then gets indicted on federal money laundering charges, Hmmmmm. Why do I think this guy may be sipping a pina colada under a palm tree in some mysterious Caribbean hideaway somewhere?

From the heroes at the MAINE STATE POLICE:

VEAZIE – Rod Hotham, 47, of Veazie was a CPA in the Bangor area. On September 16, 1992, Rod disappeared. He was never seen again.

Two months after his disappearance, he was indicted on federal fraud and money laundering charges.

Police investigators have interviewed hundreds of people, but Rod’s disappearance remains a mystery.
