Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is bringing back the crowd pleaser light show "Gardens Aglow" for the holiday season.

Experience the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor in a whole new light as you walk the upper gardens that are strung with hundreds of thousands of lights. The colors are brilliant and new this year is "Unearthed", a dramatic sculpture exhibit by artist Steve Tobin.

Gardens Aglow grows every year and should be on your holiday bucket list. This light display is magical, plan to share it with family and friends and make a special holiday memory.

Dress for the weather, layers work best. The Maine coast is chilly during the winter so bundle up.

Gardens Aglow runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m through New Year's Eve and is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Along with the gorgeous display of lights, you can also do some holiday shopping in the Gardenshop.
