Bill Cosby, who has been in professional and personal turmoil for several years now, had his honorary degree from one of Maine's most decorated colleges rescinded, according to CentralMaine.com. Colby College awarded an honorary degree to Cosby back in 1992, but after being found guilty on multiple counts of sexual assault, the board of trustees at Colby unanimously voted to rescind the honor.

Cosby's legal troubles and tarnished reputation have led to other prestigious schools across the country to rescind honorary degrees in his name as well. Boston College, Temple University, Notre Dame and Yale have all recent revoked Cosby's honorary degrees. In fact, it was the first time in Yale's 300-year history that the school has revoked an honorary degree.
