Dogs Love Maine, Maine Loves Dogs [VIDEO]

Did ya notice the Time and Temp clock said "Woof" on your way into work this week? 

That's because it's time to celebrate our furry family members this weekend at the 10th Annual Woofminster Doggie Carnival in Portland. The Planet Dog Foundation is back with an afternoon of great four-legged fun at Deering Oaks Park on Sunday September 13th and admission is free! So let's bark in the park with games, contests, challenges and more. There's also live music from Portland bands, Gunther Brown and The Joint Chiefs.

The Woofminster Doggie Carnival is for the dogs of Maine and the Mainers who love them. Like previous years, they will bring back the favorites:

• Musical Dog Beds
• The Cover Dog Challenge
• The 50-Paw Dash

They will be selling event tickets and raffle entries to raise money to support the Paws for Peace Program, which helps military veterans with PTSD get and train service dogs.
