You may have heard they exist, but have you ever seen one in person?

Scales restaurant in Portland hosted an extremely rare cotton candy colored lobster in their tank this weekend, taking plenty of pictures and dubbing her "Blue Betty" before one of the chefs released her back into the bay.

These iridescent sea insects are roughly 1 in 100 million, which explains why you may have never come across one among all those lobster rolls you've housed.

Ain't she a beaut? That's what we call a lobster of a lifetime.
