Levi is a 5-year-old boy from Gorham, Maine who has survived a brain tumor and hydrocephalus.

Levi's parents, Adam and Danielle need help with his continued medical care. "Donuts For Levi" is a benefit to help pay for his medical bills. It is taking place on Tuesday, February 26th from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. at HiFi Donuts in Monument Square in downtown Portland, Maine. Proceeds from the day are being generously donated by Ari & Melissa, the owners of HiFi Donuts.

Here's the latest update on Levi's well-being from his father, Adam:

We have Levi’s 3-month follow-up MRI and appointments at Boston Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, to check up on his hydrocephalus and ensure his brain tumor is not growing back. They’ll fully check his brain to see how it’s doing. Hopefully, the MRI will show that no tumor nodules are growing back, and that his shunt is working appropriately with his CSF flowing as it should. Fingers crossed anyway! He will continue to have these checkups every few months for the next couple years; and then, as long as all is going well, he’ll have them annually.

It’s been a long road (It’s only been 5 months, but it’s felt like years.) and Levi has been our little warrior. He has more strength and courage than his Dad, and more heart and love than his Mom. We are blessed that he is here today to share those things with the world.
