I'll be happy when the two weeks are over.

We all have 'our' Dunkin'. We have a Dunkin' that is, for some of us, part of our daily routine. It's our coffee jump start to the day or the breakfast or snack we need to keep going. My Dunkin' is the one on Route One in Falmouth. I love Phil and Barbara and Mo. But my Dunkin' will be closed for two weeks starting Monday, June 6. Why?

It's the best reason ever! It's getting a spiffy renovation! Now, some of this is top secret, but some of what will happen I can share. If you've noticed over the years Dunkin' has done a makeover for a lot of their restaurants. Many places are doing this. McDonald's has spiffed up, Burger King went retro with sleek new buildings. Finally Dunkin' on Route One in Falmouth is getting some love. And not bad, they are doing it in two weeks. I have it from an official source (again, top-secret) that the renovation will only take ten days, but they need the extra days to clean up and make sure everything is running. One thing I do know that will be coming is the Dunkin' tap system. And yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

Unconfirmed, but possible are wireless charging stations. The Dunkin' on St. John Street in Portland has wireless charging stations and it is VERY cool!

I'll miss you Route One Falmouth Dunkin for two whole weeks (look for me at the West Falmouth Dunks), but absence makes the heart grow fonder! Can't wait to see ya all spiffed up!
