If you live in Western Maine and you felt some rumbling early this morning, you weren't dreaming.

According to News Center Maine, the United States Geological Survey has confirmed that a 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at approximately 2:23 this morning.  The epicenter seems to be in Waterford (west of Lewiston).

So far, no reports of injuries or damage.

Even though we don't have a lot of earthquakes, especially compared to other states (we're looking at you, California), they do occasionally happen in the Pine Tree State.  Maine's last earthquake happened near Sabbatus in February.
