If you're looking to ramp up your appetite so you can eat that giant Thanksgiving dinner, then think about running the annual Portland Thanksgiving 4-Miler. This is a really fun and low-pressure race and a great way to get some exercise before you stuff yourself. Lots of folks wear crazy turkey costumes and it's a beautiful race through Portland's Old Port.  Let's do this!

Here's all the info from the race organizers:

Please join us for a Southern Maine running tradition, the 38th annual Portland Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler & Kids K. The 2 loop 4 Miler course winds through Portland's historic Old Port and Downtown Districts. Proceeds to benefit Partners for World Health, Portland Trails, the St. Patrick’s Secondary School in Iten, Kenya and other area non - profits.
