EEK! Look At The Size Of This Snake In Belfast, Maine

What would you do if you were out for a walk and stumbled onto this slithering monster? I would scream bloody murder

It happened to a resident on the east side of Belfast, according to the towns local police department. Officer Sgt. Fitzpatrick, who obviously has a great sense of humor, posted this picture on the station's Facebook page.

Unfortunately, Fitzpatrick was not able to "apprehend" the snake for questioning. Perhaps, he could have found out why it was lurking about the sidewalk and trying to scare people. More importantly, who does it belong to?

I have no idea what kind of snake this is. Judging from the comments, it could be an eastern milk snake or a corn snake. Do you know?
