Do you have a Samsung Galaxy phone? If you do you were probably met with a little confusion this morning. Between your late-night "u up?" texts and push notifications from Facebook and Instagram was a notification for something called "Find My Mobile".

Confused and concerned I looked in my app drawer. Did I have an app that I forgot about? Was this a virus trying to tell me someone was looking for MY phone? I had no app and clicking on the notifcation just made it disappear.

Weird.

I put it out of my mind, otherwise, I would panic and think I just somehow leaked all of my personal information. Thankfully, PiunikaWeb.com put my mind at ease.

Piunka Web explained that Samsung accidentally pushed out the notification worldwide. (Yikes. Imagine messing up at work and having people around the WORLD know you messed up.) Find My Mobile is a real app but both those who have the app and those who do not received the notification.

Piunka Web also discovered that Findmymobile.samsung.com was down early this morning.

So, no worries if you got the notification. Although Samsung hasn't released an official statement, it appears it was just an oopsie!
