Funspot in Laconia, New Hampshire Opens Back Up On June 29

Funspot, the largest arcade in the world located in Laconia, New Hampshire, is opening up again on June 29.

Funspot Family Entertainment Center is home to video games, pinball, bowling, and skee-ball over three floors of space. It's gotten worldwide recognition as the home the American Classic Arcade Museum, a non-profit organization that exists to preserve classic video games and pinball machines from 70s and 80s. They have amassed over 250 classic games that still only cost a quarter (one token) to play.

Like all of Funspot, the arcade museum has been closed for three months, and has kept things going with nearly $20,000 in donations in a Go Fund Me campaign. Now with a planned opening for all of Funspot on June 29, funding will resume from Tuesday Bingo games that benefit the museum, the first of which will be June 30.

If you have never been to Funspot, it's worth the trip. All the classics are here including Donkey Kong, Frogger, Dig Dug, Dragon's Lair and every Pac-Man game ever made in the 80s: The original, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Man Jr., and even a Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man pinball machine. Social distancing will be in place and both Funspot and the American Classic Arcade Museum will release the precautions they'll be taking soon, but the World's Largest Arcade returns on June 29.
