Every now and then I pop onto Craigslist and enter "WBLM" to see if anything comes up. In the past I've found some pretty rare Blimp bumper stickers. This morning I found this listing!
WBLM 108 coffee mugs - $200 (Freeport)
"I have a pair (in good shape) of original WBLM 108 radio coffee mugs. Remember back in junior high school when WBLM was the coolest station to listen to? These mugs are about 40 years. WBLM radio went from 108 to 107 1/2 to 107.5 and finally ended at 102.9. Who else has 108 mugs?"
Two hundred bucks seems pretty steep for two mugs, but I hope there's a buyer out there. I found my blimp sweatshirt last week that I haven't seen in five years and I also have a few coffee mugs, maybe I should throw them up in a listing to put toward the vacation fund?
