Help Find a New Home in Maine for These Beautiful Hunting Dog Pals

These beautiful hunting dogs called Weimaraners have enchanted me since I was a little shaver growing up in Augusta. Our next door neighbors had one that just sparkled. I remember falling in love this super smart and friendly breed.

It was also terrific to see the artist Will Wegman's shorts make appearances on Saturday Night Live and Sesame Street over the years.

So when I saw a post on Facebook about two Weimaraners that need a new home, I knew I needed to help spread the word for Sophie Cohen of Waldoboro.

She writes...

"Hey all! Looking for someone who can take two weims. They are not related but bonded. Must be in Maine, as my sister and I would like to be able to see them still.Owner (our father) passed and we want to make sure they have a good home. Make and female, fixed, playful!"

Sophie, we are so sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking news to hear. We hope that these gorgeous babies get placed in a loving home soon.

I personally really wish I could adopt them but, I have 4 doggos in the house already. Best of luck from your friends at the Blimp.
