As shows have continued to be announced for the new Maine Savings Pavilion at Rock Row in Westbrook, people have been asking two important questions. What will the venue look like in its inaugural year and will it be ready in time for the first show on May 26th?

Shared by Jon Chrisos, on Facebook, the developers behind Rock Row answered both those questions on Tuesday, unveiling what the music venue will look like in 2019 and guaranteeing that it will be ready for May 26th. As you can see in the artist rendering, for 2019, Rock Row will be an open-air venue, similar to what concert-goers have experienced on the Maine State Pier for the past several years. On the exterior of the perimeter, there will portable bathrooms as well as food and beverage vendors. Rock Row updated their Facebook page a few days ago to show their progress.

The developers long-term plans called for a far more permanent structure, which includes the music stage itself. All along, Rock Row was promised to have a four-season venue when it's complete, featuring an outdoor amphitheater style during the warmer months (as pictured above) with the ability to "close the walls" and transform into an indoor venue during the colder months.

For those that have already purchased tickets for shows at Rock Row, rest assured work is being done at fervent pace to make the 2019 concert season enjoyable for all.
