According to WCSH 6, police are crediting the quick thinking of a nurse who recently moved to Maine with saving the life of a man who collapsed in a Boothbay Harbor parking lot earlier today (November 25th)

At about 1 PM, Boothbay Harbor police and ambulance responded to a call reporting that a man had collapsed next to his car in the Small Mall parking lot. When they got there, they found a man on the ground with a woman tending to him.

The woman's name is Kenzie Cox.  Her and her husband recently moved to the area because her husband, active-duty in the US Coast Guard, is based in Boothbay Harbor.

Fortunately, thanks to Kenzie's quick actions, the man was awake and able to communicate with medical technicians by the time they arrived.

The Boothbay Harbor Police Department sung her praises in a mid-afternoon Facebook post.
