Is 'Poseidon' the Most Epic Bloody Mary With a Full Maine Lobster

Feeling in the mood for a bloody mary? Maybe you want one to go with Sunday brunch or maybe you've been craving one just because.

Maine is home to a bunch of restaurants and places that turn bloody marys into a real art form.

Some might say aggressive. Some might say incredible. Some might just want to put it on display because of how awesome it looks.

But there's a restaurant out there that uses a full Maine lobster as part of its epic creation that might just make some of the best bloody marys.

And sadly, it's not even in Maine. But how amazing would it be if it was?

Feast your eyes (and stomach) on what The Blind Pelican calls the "Poseidon." This North Carolina establishment, according to a Facebook post, only puts these massive drinks together when they get the Maine lobsters in.

So imagine if a Maine place did something like it!

Um. Now that is a monster bloody mary. Have you got about a thousand bucks to spend?

There have certainly been a fair share of notable spots in Maine to put together a good bloody mary. (And some get creative without the use of the classic Maine lobster).

Is there a place out there in the Pine Tree State that puts together something as jaw-dropping as the Blind Pelican?

Or is it Mainers just don't need the extravagance of a whole lobster with their bloody marys? Is it really necessary?

Granted, I could certainly see tourists shelling out big bucks just so they could say they got a "Poseidon" during their trip to Maine, right?

Or maybe it has to do with the lobster market and the fluctuating prices and demand?

Whatever the reason, it's hard to not be awed by what the Blind Pelican has put together using Maine lobster. But if there's a place in Maine that is doing something epically similar, let us know!
