If you are visiting Freeport Village Station, there is a new place to stop for a sweet treat. Crêpe Elizabeth, a business that originally started as a food truck, has now opened a small shop location in Freeport.

The new crêpe spot is located in the Mallet Building on Mill Street, right below the candy shop What The Actual Fudge and close to the Amtrak station in Freeport Village. This makes it an easy place to grab a snack while shopping or walking around the village.

Crêpe Elizabeth became popular as a traveling crêpe food truck that served customers at events, breweries, and markets around Maine. Because of its popularity, the business recently expanded and opened this new location in Freeport Village Station in early 2026.

The shop offers fresh, made-to-order crêpes with both sweet and savory options. Customers can choose from classic flavors like fruit and chocolate or try more creative combinations. It is also a great place to grab a quick coffee or a small bite while taking a break from shopping.

One of the most popular items on the menu is “La Classique,” a sweet crêpe filled with Nutella, fresh strawberries, and bananas, then dusted with powdered sugar. Yum!

The Mallet Building has slowly been adding more small food spots, and Crêpe Elizabeth is one of the newest additions. The location used to be part of the building’s retail space before being turned into a spot for the crêpe shop.
