Did you see it in the sky Saturday? I was driving past Hannaford in Brewer, Maine on Saturday afternoon around 1600, and I noticed a commercial sized airplane being escorted by what appeared to be two fighter jets.

The way the world is/has been lately, nothing would surprise me and like many people these days, my mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario. Not panicked. The worst just almost seems like the most logical explanation.

What Could the Three Flying Objects Over Bangor, Maine Be?

I couldn't tell whether or not they had just taken off. It didn't seem to be that that was the scenario, however the three aircraft did appear to be on more of an ascension.

Was it a hijacked plane? Was it an aircraft owned by an adversary and being escorted out of country? Those "spy" balloons over America weren't too long ago. Actually, just over a year ago. Was it an emergency? Was a head of state in town? I work in media and didn't hear anything.

Time to Ask the Colonel About the Mystery Aircrafts Over Maine

I am very proud to have several members of my family who have served or are currently serving in the military. My father is a retired colonel from the United States Air Force. Naturally, I sent him the short video that I was able to take before the three aircraft disappeared from my sights. Within seconds, this is the response I received.

"That is a KC-135 with two Navy jets. The 135 is a refueler. Don't see that too often." - Ret. Colonel Paul Bugenske

LOL! How was he even able to identify that so quickly?! Sure, 35 years in the Air Force helped, but you see the screenshots from the video I took! It's a very grainy video! What do you think? Do you agree with my father or is it something else? Let me know on the Facebook post shared below! I would love to hear your take.
