Consider this your sign to plan a night out. And maybe show up hungry. VERY hungry.

I recently stopped by Cushnoc Brewing on Water Street in Augusta, Maine, and tried their seasonal apple pizza, and let me tell you, these folks KNOW how to make fall flavors exciting.

We’re talking maple sage sausage, organic McIntosh apples, creamy white mozzarella sauce, garlic, red onion, and a hot honey drizzle.

Yes, HOT HONEY, honey.

The combination is everything you want in a seasonal dish.

You get the sweetness of the apples and maple, the savory goodness of the sausage and garlic, that creamy mozzarella base, and just the right kick of heat from the honey.

I'll be honest, it is a little unexpected, but it's the kind of pizza that makes you stop mid-bite and say, “Okay, wait. You HAVE to try this.”

And that’s what I have always loved about Cushnoc.

They aren’t content to just stick with the usual menu.

They’re always experimenting, dreaming up new combinations, and finding ways to make seasonal ingredients shine. You never know what delicious surprise might be waiting around the corner.

Honestly, this is exactly the kind of place I want to visit when the weather gets chilly and a night out with friends sounds infinitely better than figuring out what’s for dinner at home.

So, friends, text the group chat. Round up your people, grab a table, order something delicious, and make a night of it.

Because if fall is going to show up with apples, maple, and hot honey on a pizza, the least we can do is celebrate accordingly.

Cushnoc Brewing, you understood the seasonal assignment.
