This is the Last Thing the Old Cole Farms in Gray, Maine, Should Become
After Cole Farms in Gray, Maine, closed for good in 2020, it has been recently a church. Now there's a new business coming soon.
The last thing Maine needs is another marijuana dispensary, and that's exactly what Cole Farms is becoming.
The sign says Do-Si-Dos Medical Cannabis. I don't know if that's the name of the place or the pot they will sell. When I tried to find out information regarding Do-Si-Dos, I found a local place called, Friend Jen and Co. in both Richmond and Auburn.
What is Do-Si-Dos pot sold in Maine?
Friend Jen and Co. says that...
Do-Si-Do is an Indica dominant hybrid of Girl Scout Cookies x Face off OG and can be remembered as sweet, dank, and funky. With a pungent, tart, and doughy scent, Do-si-Dos kicks like fire.
They also grow it in Richmond, Maine! They cultivate their medical marijuana with some of it processed by local extractors, and some in-house for infused products.
How many marijuana dispensaries DOES Maine have?
It appears that they are everywhere. Your favorite restaurant disappeared and in its place is a new weed store. That empty lot is now a pot store. Especially in the Portland area. There are currently about 200 active marijuana dispensaries in Maine. The giant Cole Farms will be yet another one.
I have nothing against marijuana dispensaries. Truly. I'm happy that any local small business in Maine is doing well. I guess I'm just bummed that marijuana is doing well, but restaurants are closing left and right. Maybe they could add a deli to these dispensaries...
