Why Are the Shelves at Target in South Portland Always Empty?
I thought it was just me, but others have noticed too.
So often at the South Portland Target, the shelves are either empty or seriously lacking products. I first noticed this around the holidays, but figured it was just that busy time of year. But now, it's more common than not.
It's very noticeable if you look in the cosmetics department. But it's not exclusive to cosmetics. You could go to any section and at some point, you are going to see major holes in inventory.
I treat my Target visits like going to a fancy Walmart. But Walmart these days is getting my business because I can find the stuff I want. And not that I have ever done food shopping at Target (seems like it would be an emergency shop), but if I DID do food shopping and had a hankering for meat, too bad!
I'm not sure if I missed a memo or what. Has anyone else noticed this lack of stuff on shelves at Target? Is this something that other places are also experiencing and I've only noticed it at Target? It just seems glaring to me at Target. No matter what area you are in, you will notice bare shelves.
I have actually stopped heading to Target because I don't want to risk that the thing I'm looking for won't be there. Based on the amount of cars in the parking lot, I'm the only one making that decision. Clue me in. Is there a reason the shelves are so spotty?
