Pause For Pets to Benefit the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society
Pause for Pets is a craft and vendor fair to benefit the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. It's this Sunday, April 14, from 10am - 3pm at the Lewiston Memorial Armory at 65 Central Ave, Lewiston. And it's free!
More than 50 local crafters and vendors will be on-site with all sorts of goodies. We know that your fur babies are so important, and this helps continue the life-saving work of the Greater Androscoggin Human Society. There will be a little bit of everything, and things for the whole family, including your favorite furry friends (unfortunately, pets are not permitted at the event).
Volunteers and staff from the GAHS will be on-hand to share information about the programs and services of the shelter. Physical donations will be collected, and you’ll even be able to pick up some GAHS swag!
It's free admission and entry for door prizes. There will also be a 50/50 and paid raffles featuring items donated by generous participants and supporters.
If you can come and support a great cause and help the animals, it sure would be appreciated! This was a semi-annual event until Covid. As you can imagine, the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society was set back during COVID-19, and they are still trying to recover. Animals became our savior during that quarantine period, and it would be great to thank them. So support those who support our furry family. Plus, if you can remember where you hide them, it's a great time to get some holiday shopping done!
