Katherine Heigl Visits Mabel's Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport, Maine
In a photo posted August 12 on social media, Katherine Heigl, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy" from 2005 to 2010, took a group picture with some of the staff at Mabel's Lobster Claw.
Mabel's said: "A very special guest joined us at Mabel’s today! So fun having Katherine Heigl here in Kennebunkport. Thanks for stopping by."
The "27 Dresses" star looked happy in the photo, which makes you wonder what she ordered. A lobster roll? Fried clams? Something else?

Mabel's started all the way back in 1953, according to its website, and serves up "quintessential seafood fare, including lobster rolls, fried clams, and steamed lobster."
Not surprisingly, several famous faces have visited the restaurant over the years, including Martha Stewart, the Bushes, and Heigl's "Grey's Anatomy" alum and Maine native Patrick Dempsey.
Mabel's, which was named "America's Best Lobster Roll" by Time Magazine, has a 4.2 rating on TripAdvisor and reviews calling it a "quintessential Maine experience."

So that marks two "Grey's Anatomy" stars making the trip to Mabel's, which is a wild coincidence. Imagine if they both showed up at the same time!
It would be truly wild if another member of the show visited as well. You never know. Someone like Ellen Pompeo or Sandra Oh could be next when you least expect it.
