North Conway had some stiff competition from California to Colorado, but New Englanders and anyone who has ever visited North Conway know it's a special place. USA Today looked beyond fresh snow and convenient access to the slopes. That is great, but what makes a great ski town for some is access to fantastic restaurants, bars, and shops. For others, it's about great accommodation options, a small-town vibe, or a historic atmosphere. North Conway, New Hampshire checks all the boxes!
