No Joke: Some Maine Walmart Stores Are Locking Up Their Meat

This isn't a massive deal, but it's absolutely going to put a wrench in some people's grocery shopping routine.

Locking up meats to a point where you have to go out of your way to grab an employee to come help you is just insane behavior, no?

I mean I understand but just look at this:

This chick above along with many others on TikTok have been sharing their own findings as this new program rolls out..it's kind of disturbing. It looks like chicken wire wrapped around an actual chicken in a package.

Why is Walmart locking up their meat?

Simply put, they're quite literally starting to lock up their meat sections in an attempt to prevent more people from stealing their produce.

Who the hell is going into Walmart and just stealing a steak? Who's just grabbing chicken drums and putting them in their purse because this needs to stop.

CVS in Westbrook yesterday had their mascara's locked up! Stealing is one thing I do NOT stand for and now thieves are stealing my conveniency while shopping too? Is that a word, conveniency?
