Yuri's Desserts Opens For the First Time in Portland, Maine

I've grown to love the way the food scene in Portland, Maine, has become so interchangeable.

With every closure always comes an opening, and with the closure of Stars & Stripes Brewery in Portland comes a yummy new dessert spot.

It's called Yuri's Desserts, and you'll find them right on the corner of Spring St.

This is awesome news for those of you who have a sweet tooth in town.

There are not too many dessert spots just yet saturating the city so this feels like a good fit in the former brewery at the moment.

Gross Confection Bar in Portland has always been the go-to dessert spot for the past few years so it'll be interesting to see how these guys do.

Yuri's Desserts officially opened their doors on January 2, seemingly launching themselves into new ventures for the new year.
