For about 15 years, the Guitar Grave in Portland, Maine, was considered an institution.
Part music store and part pawn shop, Guitar Grave became a place that people could visit for a variety of reasons.
Mike Fink, the man behind Guitar Grave, considered the store to be a helpful hand to aspiring musicians while serving the community as a fair and non-judgmental pawn broker.
In 2019, Guitar Grave moved on from their longtime location at 441 Congress Street. And now years later, that space is getting the full Portland treatment by becoming a new cocktail lounge.
Supper Club Cocktail Lounge Takes Over Guitar Grave Space in Portland, Maine
According to Portland Food Map, The Supper Club Cocktail Lounge is set for a grand opening on Saturday, February 28.
The reimagined space reads as cozy and the menu will featured a curated craft cocktails, craft beer as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
While Supper Club is a cocktail lounge, they'll also serve a small menu that will include appetizers and a couple of mains.
Supper Club Cocktail Lounge Located in Unconventional Area of Portland, Maine
Typically when a new cocktail bar or restaurant opens in Portland, Maine, it's not far from another bar or restaurant that shares a similar vibe.
Supper Club Cocktail Lounge will be located next door to Flores Restaurant and Bar but not much else when it comes to nightlife.
It's possible Supper Club will end up blazing the trail for other spots to open nearby.
Supper Club will operate Thursday through Saturday from 5pm until Midnight. Sunday and Monday 5pm until 11pm. Supper Club will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
