Netflix recently released one of their most anticipated documentaries in years. A six-part deep dive into the wild life led by former WWE chairman of the board, Vince McMahon.

The documentary is split into six pivotal pieces detailed Vince's rise to fame, the "character" he played on television and the dozens of lawsuits he faced along the way. But it's the first episode of "Mr. McMahon" that seemingly gets the most personal.

In episode one, Vince McMahon details how he grew up in a trailer park. During that rough upbringing, he was repeatedly physically abused by his stepfather. But at age 12, McMahon finally began a relationship with his biological father, Vince McMahon Sr and his world changed.

At that time, Vince McMahon Sr. ran a wrestling promotion. Vince McMahon Jr. fell in love with the wrestling business instantly. And while Vince McMahon Sr. was cold to the idea of Vince Jr. joining the business, he eventually decided to give his son a chance.

Vince McMahon Jr.'s big break would come in Bangor, Maine. At that time in professional wrestling, the northeast territories were run by Vince McMahon Sr. Bangor had always been a good spot to bring a pro wrestling show and he allowed Vince McMahon Jr. to promote it and run it.

That Bangor show was a huge success and Vince McMahon Jr. never looked back. He would eventually purchase the World Wrestling Federation from his father and turn it into a billion-dollar company with global reach.

The "Mr. McMahon" docuseries is available on Netflix. As you'll notice at the end of episode 6, there was likely more of the story on Vince McMahon to be told but the interviews were cut short.
