If you want a holiday experience that you and your family will love, you should consider a ride on the iconic Conway Scenic Railroad on their "Winter at Crawford" experience. This place looks like the setting of your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie.
This Winter of 2024, it will travel to Crawford Notch where the scenery is breathtaking.
For the first time in more than 60 years, the Conway Scenic Railroad is taking the train over the Crawford Notch during snow season.
It all begins on November 30th and runs through December 30, 2024 at the North Conway, New Hampshire station.
The train ride is four hours long from North Conway over to the Crawford Notch which will treat passengers to incredible views of the White Mountains from a higher elevation.
The Conway Scenic Railroad and it's station is a New Hampshire icon. The train cars themselves will bring you back to the 1950's. The North Conway station was designed in 1874 and it is one of a kind. It was designed as the Gateway to the White Mountains, according to Outside White Mountains. Even if you don't take the train ride, the train station is worth the trip to North Conway.
You can have lunch on the train, but you have to book it ahead of time since everything is made fresh.
If the weather does not cooperate, it is Winter in New Hampshire, after tall, the train ride may be slowed down or cancelled all together.
