This means from Chicago to Boston and beyond, in one of the busiest areas of the country, travel delays are very likely.

The AccuWeather website states that there will likely be flight delays and congested traffic along our major highways, including Interstate 95. This storm will come in bursts of wintry weather and snow showers, which will start to affect travel from New York to northern New England in the two days before Thanksgiving.

There is a chance that heavy rains will be more prevalent than snow on Wednesday for Massachusetts and New Hampshire, according to AccuWeather. However, we can't rule out some snow and ice, making driving slick and slippery at times.

Once we hit Thanksgiving Day, it appears to be smooth sailing and a quiet holiday weekend for New England overall, so there's that.
