Every once in a while, we hear of really ridiculous laws that are never enforced, as far as I am aware.  These four always leave me scratching my head.

It is Illegal in New Hampshire to Make the Beaches Prettier

What?  True statement, according to worldpopulationreview.com, if you rake the beach or throw away the trash, you could be fined for $150.  Weird.  You can't construct a bench for the beach either.

Speaking of the beach, it's also illegal in New Hampshire to carry away or collect seaweed at night.  I am guessing, but this might be for environmental reasons.

Blue Laws Pertain to Things You Can Not Do on Sunday

The definition of a "blue law" as I am aware, are laws put on the books that pertain to Sunday.  For example, you can not run machinery on Sundays.  I can only assume that it goes back to the days of "even God rested on Sunday."  These days, that doesn't happen, but I kind of wish it did, if I'm honest.  "Sorry!  I can't!  It's Sunday."

New Hampshire's Most Ridiculous Law

In my opinion, this is the silliest law still on the books in New Hampshire.  You can not, according to worldpopulationreview.com, "tap your feet, nod your head or in any way keep time to the music in a tavern, restaurant or cafe."  If that's the case, I should have been locked up a long time ago.  It's hard not to tap your feet when you hear your favorite song, don't you think?

If you think this list is silly, wait until you hear about the 18 stupid laws that Massachusetts has.  I'll be writing about those later.
