If you've spent much time in Massachusetts' North Shore, you've likely heard of the majestic Crane Estate, situated atop Castle Hill in Ipswich.

The 59-room, Stuart-style mansion was constructed in 1928 and inhabited by Chicago industrialist Richard Teller Crane Jr. and his family. The seaside estate included a "mansion, farm and estate buildings, a pool complex, designed gardens and grounds, and diverse natural areas," according to The Trustees of Reservations. Today, it is comprised of 165 acres, and hosts guided tours, weddings, and other special events.

Now, The Trustees and Boston Swing Central are preparing for one of the Crane Estate's most beloved annual events: The Roaring Twenties Lawn Party.

Prepare to be transported back in time to an era of flappers, suffragists, and the sounds of the Jazz Age. This party on August 3-4 is a celebration of all things vintage and dance culture, featuring "live music and dancing, performances, antique automobiles, lawn games, a vintage fair and more!", according to the event's website.

The official schedule promises a weekend full of activities for all to enjoy, from beginner swing and jazz lessons to live performances, afternoon tea, food & drinks, a "Charleston challenge", and more.

Here's a look at some photos from 2022's Lawn Party. As you can see, people love dressing up in snazzy vintage attire for the occasion. Who wouldn't?

These images look straight out of The Great Gatsby, and we absolutely love it.
