BBQ, face painting, dunk tank with Lou from the WJBQ Morning Show, bounce house, Beal's Ice Cream truck and more!

Friday, June 21st, join Avita of Stroudwater in Westbrook as they host an epic block party to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

Avita of Stroudwater is a 70 bed memory care community that focuses on people living with dementia, Alzheimer's and other memory impairment. Their philosophy is to "Live Well, Love Life". They have amazing programs tailored to each resident's stage to help them adapt to a new way of living, while staying active and part of the community through outings and adventures. A memory impairment diagnosis does not mean the end to an enjoyable life full of socialization and stimulation.

Right now there are 5.8 million people living with Alzheimer's and it's projected that by 2050 that number will explode to reach 14 million people. A cure is what we need. All proceeds will benefit the Longest Day Fundraiser, organized by the Alzheimer's Association. Bring your family, neighbors and friends to this wonderful family event on June 21st.

The address is: Avita of Stroudwater, 113 Landing Rd., Westbrook.

If you have a loved one with memory impairment, come with your questions and concerns.
