Firehouse Subs

My first Firehouse Subs experience was in Topsham, likely around 2016 and I have yet to find a better sub. This may sound like an ad, but like many, I'm simply a BIG fan. Firehouse Subs became a routine for myself and a friend of mine as we made the trek down to Portland or Old Orchard Beach to go out dancing after work. I think I’ve ordered the same thing every single time.

A good ol’ Turkey Bacon Ranch with Cool Ranch Doritos to shove into my sandwich (obviously) and occasionally I’d add a cookie. (You could ask for 'The Brittany' but they would look at you like you’re an idiot.)

What’s great about Firehouse Subs is that they steam their meats and cheeses to keep the sandwich innards as flavorful as possible and they have their own secret recipe for the sub rolls.

Even better, after Hurricane Katrina, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation was founded to help public safety workers in a variety of ways such as with needed equipment, scholarships, and more. A portion of each purchase goes to the foundation.

Over the years, 6 Firehouse Subs locations have opened in Maine; Auburn, Bangor, Biddeford, Topsham, Waterville, and Westbrook.

Now’s the time to be checking their website daily, it could result in a free medium sub.

Name of the Day

To show their appreciation to their customers, Firehouse Subs just started another round of Name of the Day. Each day on their website they will list a name or names, and if you have that name with proof of ID, they will hook you up with a free medium sub with any purchase.

On the first day, May 4th, as a nod to Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you…) the lucky names are Luke, Leia, or Ben.

Use this link to check back tomorrow! Good luck!
