Lynyrd Skynyrd played Maine for the very first time on September 5th, 1974 at an Unknown Venue in Bangor! Were you there?! Where was it?! Fill in the blanks for the rest of us! Lynyrd Skynyrd has returned to Maine 12 times since then and we are happy to have them be today's Rocktober Artist of the day. Skynyrd has also played for our neighbors in New Hampshire 16 times since 1988! Blimpsters all over love this Southern rock band!
