Maine’s Bikers for Boobies Motorcycle Ride Returns to Fight Breast Cancer
October is fast approaching, which means ghosts, goblins, and gobstoppers.
However, October is about much more than just Halloween, and nothing represents that more than the fact that it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to the American Cancer Society, more than 324,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed every year. That is simply a staggering number. To put it into perspective, 1 out of every 8 women in America will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
Considering how widespread the disease is, it’s no wonder Americans do such a great job, especially in October, of coming together to raise awareness and funds to help battle this horrible disease.

One of the most popular events here in Maine that helps in the fight against breast cancer is fast approaching: Bikers for Boobies.
Who Founded the Bikers for Boobies Ride?
Founded seven years ago by the Vacationland V-Twin Cruisers Motorcycle Club, Bikers for Boobies is an event that helps raise funds to fight breast cancer. It’s simply an awesome way to get more folks involved while enjoying a fun ride from LA Harley to Bentley’s Saloon in Arundel, all for a very important cause.
Bikers for Boobies has been teaming up with our friends at 94.9 WHOM and the Cans for a Cure fundraising event. However, this year, Bikers for Boobies will be rocking with us over here at the Blimp.
While WBLM is helping out, nothing truly changes with the event or where the funds go, with proceeds benefiting the Maine Cancer Foundation.

When is the 2026 Edition of Bikers for Boobies?
The ride is Saturday, Sept. 26 (rain date, Oct 3), starting at LA Harley in Lewiston. It ends at the world-famous Bentley’s Saloon down in Arundel. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with kickstands up at 11 a.m.
