According to News Center Maine, D.J. Chris Bouchard, owner of Bouchard Entertainment, has found a way to bring some joy to his clients who have had to reschedule their weddings because of COVID-19. Every Friday night starting at 8, Chris hosts, "COVID-19 Live Wedding Mixes".

Chris plans to keep his Friday night wedding party going through August. He takes requests and there's no reason for you not to get your first dance in, even if it's in your living room.

Planning a wedding is intense, there is so much to do; venue, caterer, dress, invitations, cake, seating plans, floral arrangements, hair and makeup appointments, hotel rooms for guests and of course, the D.J.. That's just the obvious stuff, I was running around the morning of our wedding dropping of gift bags to the hotel for our out of town guests and picking up the watch that I had engraved for my husband.

Many couples are postponing their wedding so that they can have friends and family with them when they do the thing. Chris Bouchard is providing them with live wedding mixes from 8 to 10 pm on Friday nights.  Chris is hoping to bring a little love to those who are putting off their wedding day because of the pandemic.

News Center Maine reports that Chris' business has taken a tremendous hit. Chris had 34 weddings booked this season and he's already lost 83% of his annual income because of cancellations. If things don't turn around before August, he'll lose 100%. Fortunately, Chris is finally able to collect an unemployment check through the Paycheck Protection Program. It's been a long wait because he's self employed.

Chris' mixes can be found through streaming sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitch. Whether you're getting married or not, it's pretty romantic and coming from such a good place. I'm going to check it out, and maybe he'll play our first dance song.
