Maine Enters Stage 3, Here’s What’s Open

Today more businesses in Maine are open as we enter the third phase of reviving our economy.

With the news that our Sea Dogs had to cancel their 2020 season, we needed some good news on the entertainment front, and we got it today. Of course we are all expected to be safe and to keep on social distancing and wearing masks when we can.

According to WGME, amusement businesses like arcades are allowed to open. You can also shine up your bowling ball and hit the lanes, go to a movie theater or take in a show at a performing arts venue.  Also opening back up are casinos and outdoor amusements; like Aquabogan Water Park. The kids can take part in the Maine tradition of overnight summer camps and you can take your family or social bubble of less than 50 people on an overnight chartered boating excursion.

Maybe all of the recreational stuff isn't your bag right now and you just want some pampering. Good news, Princess, all of your fave spots are open. Enjoy a spa day that can include a massage and facial. Complete the clean up with a fresh haircut, waxing or laser hair removal.

Folks can return to work. Joy.

The opening date for bars and tasting rooms was postponed and we don't have a new date for them yet.
