Maine farms are asking the public for Christmas trees which are, apparently, great for goats and sheep to snack on, according to WMTW.

Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook is collecting trees this weekend and next weekend. And, bonus! They also have ice cream and serve lunch so make an afternoon out of it! Plus, who doesn't like visiting goats?!

Valley's-Edge Farm in Strong is collecting as well. They included a helpful reminder that they need trees sans tinsel.

These are just two Maine farms accepting trees but if you won't be in Westbrook or Strong give your local farm a call. They may have some hungry goats that will warmly welcome your donation!
